B. Patient falls has increased --- % over the past --- years due to the increase in patients disease factors and age-related health issues.
My preceptor thinks that patient falls is a
good area for me to focus on because preventing patient falls is an ongoing
focus for the facility. It helps create better patient outcomes and lowers
facility budget when patients are discharged efficiently with less issues then
they came in the facility with. If there is anything that can be added to
assist with the prevention of patient falls in the facility, then my preceptor
is more then willing to listen to what data or research has proven positive for
other patients in long term care facilities. (USE AGENCY
