It was
Suddenly, Van Helsing approached me, questioning, “Since you are quite trustworthy, and ventured with me here yesterday, you can tell the others what you saw.”
“L-Lucy,” I stammered slowly, but loud enough for all to hear.
The professor continued, “Now everybody can be sure that Ms.Westerna was here the night before.” Unscrewing the lid of the coffin and removing it with my help, everybody was waiting to see our purpose. Arthur stood pale and very unsure of himself in the back of the room. As he stepped forward Van Helsing took his lantern and shown it at Lucy’s coffin. Suspense lingered through all of us, and suddenly we all let out a gasp. All of us, except of course Van Helsing. He seemed almost too sure of himself. It made me question myself on whether Van Helsing set this up to give us a scare. Everyone in the room hadn’t spoken a word for several minutes when all of a sudden Quincey stated his thoughts. They seemed very much alike to mine. He was asking if the Professor had done this.
